Tribute Tap ("we", "our") helps funeral homes organize memorial contributions made in honor of a loved one. This page explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

When someone makes a contribution, we collect the details needed to process it and to prepare an acknowledgement for the family: name, email, mailing address, contribution amount, and an optional message. Funeral home staff accounts include name and work email.

How we use it

Contribution details are shared with the funeral home managing the memorial so they can direct funds to the designated organizations and prepare the family's acknowledgement report. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider and are never stored on our servers.

Data retention and security

We retain contribution records for as long as needed to meet reporting, accounting, and legal obligations. Access is restricted to authorized funeral home staff and platform administrators, and all data is encrypted in transit.
